Twenty Ten Cardigan

Posted in Knitting

This is the body of the Twenty Ten cardigan which I’m currently wrestling with. The cardigan is constructed in one piece from the bottom up.

The increases and decreases to make the piece skew for the diagonal front band have been a bit of a challenge. As has remembering to do buttonholes. Have finally managed to knit the entire body, shoulders and construct them to prepare for the collar and it’s looking really pretty and might even fit.

Knitting the cardigan in the park earlier, a woman rushed up to me and excitedly told me she was learning to knit. Then she asked why I blew on my knitting? What technique was this? She seemed quite disappointed when I told her I was just removing a ladybird from my hand.
