Yes, I know, but I love Selfridges window displays! All the mannequins currently have these wigs and flowers which are beautiful but I couldn’t tell you what they were wearing.

Last year I read Shopping, Seduction & Mr Selfridge by Lindy Woodhead and discovered that the founder, Harry Selfridge was a real showman who loved to make a big spectacle, something that’s reflected in the store’s continual innovation of events and window displays.
