Fell completely in love with Sew To Speak’s pattern for tiny little Russian dolls and had to sew up a handful. Made two changes – omitted the glue and sewed everything, and decorated them with sequins and embroidery. The reason I didn’t glue them was that glue can sometimes discolour and damage fabric over time and I hope to be hanging these on my tree for years to come.
Also it appeared to be compulsory to have Babooshka by Kate Bush on a loop in my brain radio the entire time I was sewing these. Make it stop!
